It’s not surprising, but it’s rather shameful.  Rather than investing in innovation they are investing in attacks.

It’s never been a surprise that online services have to be paid for.  We get them at the expense of Ads.  And who wants to advertise in places where they’ll get no response.  It only makes sense for Google, a search company, to use their search technology to provide more relevant Ads.
